Use what you see, don’t plan it. We start with a vision in our heart, and we put it on canvas. Imagination is the key to painting.
As trees get older they lose their chlorophyll. We’ll throw some happy little limbs on this tree. Everybody needs a friend. Maybe we got a few little happy bushes here, just covered with snow. Those great big fluffy clouds. And I know you’re saying, ‘Oh Bob, you’ve done it this time.’ And you may be right.
I can’t think of anything more rewarding than being able to express yourself to others through painting. No worries. No cares. Just float and wait for the wind to blow you around. Maybe there’s a happy little bush that lives right there. Nice little fluffy clouds laying around in the sky being lazy. We touch the canvas, the canvas takes what it wants. Trees cover up a multitude of sins.
You have freedom here. The only guide is your heart. Let the paint work. These trees are so much fun. I get started on them and I have a hard time stopping. I started painting as a hobby when I was little. I didn’t know I had any talent. I believe talent is just a pursued interest. Anybody can do what I do. Only eight colors that you need.
